What is the difference between 365 special and 372XP? ›

The difference between a 365 Special and a 372XP is the 48mm bore versus a 50mm bore. Though I have seen some Zama carbs in a couple 365's. The difference between a 365XP X-torq and a 372XP X-torq are the transfer cover plates on the side of the cylinder.

Husqvarna two stroke engines are designed to run on clean, fresh, unleaded petrol. A fuel / oil ratio of 50:1 is recommended for all Husqvarna 2-stroke products.

It is important to note that not all 2 stroke oils are compatible with all fuels. Some oils are specifically formulated for use with certain fuel types, such as gasoline or mixed ethanol fuels. Always check the oil manufacturer's guidelines to ensure compatibility with the fuel you plan to use.

But as a general guide, a fuel-to-oil ratio of 50:1 is recommended for Husqvarna products up to and including 75cc. That comes out to 2.5 fluid ounces of oil per 1 gallon of gas. In certain heavy-use applications, models above 75cc may be run on a mix of 33:1.
