We stayed at the Apollo Hotel Utrecht City Center in early February 2022, and had a wonderful experience. The staff is very friendly and genuinely care about their guests. The breakfast was fantastic, and we received a phone call that our breakfast was ready, so that it would be hot when we arrived in the restaurant. The location, accommodations, and staff were all terrific. I can't wait to go back!

The hotel is in a great location - a short walk from the station and also the shops and restaurants of Utrecht city centre. There is a small restaurant on the top floor where you can get a limited range of dinner options (which I didn't try), and an excellent selection in the breakfast buffet (which I did). The hotel is in the process of refurbishment, so you may get an old style room (a bit dated) or you could be lucky. My experience of the older style room was that it was spacious, and there was no disturbance from road noise etc, though there was not very good sound insulation from surrounding rooms, so you may be disturbed by other guests. I would not hesitate in booking this hotel again when in Utrecht

Excellent location right in town, you don't have to walk far for anything you need. friendly helpful staff, I booked a single but on arrival was given upgrade to double which had balcony, very good. Comfy bed, also had fridge in room, liked it.. 👍

Room is large and comfortable. However its poorly lit with a TV / TV remote that doesn't work well and very slow wifi. Not recommended for stays that require work in the hotel or if you want to stream anything. Other than that staff are great and the location is good.

The hotel is in a TOP location and you pay for that. But what you get in return is not very special. We were on no idea what floor 🤷🏼‍♀️ We had to use 2 elevators and climb dozens of stairs to get to the room. It was a mess to get to the room. You can almost take a map with you. 🙈The beds were good, the room was clean and the bathroom had everything you needed, but nothing special (read outdated) but it was also clean! The three of us slept here (3 friends) and the room was not very big, you can't actually call the balcony a balcony (the two of us could just stand there)The shower started well (read pressure was good), but the 2nd already had less pressure, and the 3rd had cold water and barely any water. This is a point that we cannot do.The breakfast was fine, and the employees were friendly.Would I recommend it? Of course! but don't expect too much.P.s. we (3 blonde ladies) could not turn off the TV in any way, this may have been our fault, but it was disturbing at night.
